WHAT WE BELIEVE

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • That knowledge, shared personal experiences, open dialogue, interdependence and the power of positive example has a profound impact on others (and often, on ourselves).
  • That there is no such thing as a quick fix. Our programs are built on establishing relationships and trust, over time.
  • That through action, change is possible. Our programs are action-based, action-driven.
  • That everyone, including Road Recovery staff, has something to learn—and, something to teach. We believe in mentorship and sharing personal experiences, to help young people “connect the dots” towards a healthier future.
  • That some who dabble in drugs and alcohol become addicted. For those, one experiment following another, leads to painful and often catastrophic results.
  • That providing support to participants seeking help with their adversities can help them fare better.
“Road Recovery is doing a great thing of inspiring the next generation to understand the principle of passing it on by first discovering yaself, I got some confusement here. Through the help of others who have lived it and have been there, Road Recovery provides a space, a sense of openness and awareness which allows a good shot of what can happen!” – Dr. John, Parent, Grandfather, Artist
