Earlier this week, we saw @creativeconnectionsclub

Earlier this week, we saw @creativeconnectionsclubhouse starting us off for in-person Trax Program. Today, you're looking at the @clubodysseyoneonta clubhouse getting started with their hybrid program.

Kaler Carpenter, Clubhouse Director, and new Creative Staff Mentor Olivia Avanzato are joined by youth who've been in Virtual Trax before, as well as some new faces. 🙌

The youth learned about each other's creative skills and passions, and a common theme that came up was relating each other's experiences of their personal growth to pet birds and animals needing bigger cages in order to thrive. 🕊

Who would have thought when I met this young gentleman back in 2018 while working a Road Recovery youth program @BronxConnect, that three years later, he and I would be in the same backing band for @kingdmc on a big stage at a sold-out event hosted by the very same organization that brought he and I together?

@goodvibes.ralph has been such an inspiration. Once he aged out of the RoadTrax program, he came back to help mentor the next generation as a beat-maker for all the up-and-coming MC’s throughout @nys_oasas Youth Clubhouses.

Let us not forget that Ralph is a true studier of music— quite the accomplished drummer and keyboardist— which he got to showcase during this magical event!!
